Walking In His Blessing From Our Blessedness
Let’s talk about something truly important - our blessedness.
The Bible is clear when it says “Walk in his blessing”, and I believe that when we start from a place of our own blessedness, we can truly experience the blessings that God intended for us.
But what does it mean to walk in his blessing? Well, it’s about knowing who we are, whose we are, and allowing the gospel of Jesus to govern our lives. It’s about being aware of all the gifts and opportunities that being in right standing with God gives us, and applying those blessings to our everyday lives.
When we’re operating from a place of blessedness, we’re focusing on the things that matter most - like God’s unending love, grace, mercy, and favor towards us. We’re recognizing all of the good that we can bring forth into this world and acting on it. We’re no longer held back by fear or worry, but we’re confidently stepping forward into what God has for us.
Some things to consider when looking at how you can operate from a place of blessedness are prioritizing your spiritual growth. Doing this will give you the insight and strength you need to take advantage of the resources and guidance that God wants to give you.
Also, be diligent in your practice of gratitude. Taking time out of your day to thank God for all that he has done for you is another powerful way to honor Him and express your faith.
Finally, be generous with your time and resources. Whether it’s financially giving to your church or volunteering in your local community, each time you give is a way to honor God and to walk in His blessings.
Remembering our blessedness is an act of faith that brings us closer to God and allows us to recognize all of the good that He has already given us. We don’t have to be held back by fear - when we operate from a place of our blessedness, we are taking a step towards a life of purpose and joy.
You can walk in His blessing when you operate from your blessedness.
It can be hard to live your life as a believer and maintain your faith when life throws curveballs your way. But if we look closely at God's Word, we can find a wonderfully powerful reminder of our blessedness. It's written in Ephesians 1:3, which says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."
When we understand that each of us have been blessed by the Lord, we can take joy in knowing that God is with us through every season and circumstance. He has showered us with blessings, fulfillment, and peace — no matter how hard things may seem.
But that's not all. Choosing to live each day from a place of blessedness also allows us to truly experience the Lord's abundance in our lives. When we see ourselves as already blessed, it's easier to trust God with our plans, to trust that He will lead us to the right opportunities, and to persevere in difficult times.
Furthermore, when we recognize our blessedness, we can use it to bless those around us. When we feel His love deep down in our soul, others are affected. We are able to share God's goodness with those who need it most. We can offer words of encouragement, reach out with a helping hand, and just be present for someone feeling down and out.
Walking in His blessing is like walking in the path of righteousness. We don’t walk the path to become righteous, we are righteous and that is why we’re on the path. Likewise, we don’t bless to be a blessing, we bless because we are blessed.
Living from our blessedness is essential if we want to walk in His blessing. We have been given infinite blessings from the Lord, so why not use them for the purpose of glorifying His name and blessing others? When we do, we can access the joy and peace that comes from living in His presence.
