Don’t Stop, Won’t Stop | Lemuel Ayudtud

Have you ever waited for someone else to start something before you realized you wanted to join? Right? You’re waiting for a group of people or an individual to do something so that you would feel validated when you do start? But more often than not it is that person who initiates something that gets the full reward of whatever it is they started. Much the same with God, at times nobody will agree with you about your love for God; especially if you’re around unbelievers.

Being the first in your home or family or work to be saved can be challenging. Being the initiator of loving God or serving Him, can be wholly intimidating. When you’re standing all by yourself and no one else is joining you can make you doubt the very experience of God

When you’re standing all by yourself, no one else joining you, can make you doubt the very experience with God. It becomes even more overwhelming when you begin to share your faith with other people.

in this chapter we are told about the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The crowd began to receive Him with celebratory shouts. Problem was the religious people didn’t like what was going on. They told the people to be quiet, And when they wouldn’t they told Jesus to tell them to shut up. We know from the story that Jesus tells those people that if the crowd would be quiet stones would take their place.

In regards to God, no matter who may tell us to be quiet, we can be certain that someone or even something else would take our place if we do. Waiting for someone else to start talking about God or being concerned about what others think about us and our relationship with God, is bound for us to be approved it from my own place. In fact Satan attempted to do that very thing, trying to see how important he was by not submitting to God, found him demoted below man that took his place.

God will always have someone or even something worshiping Him—it might as well be you and me. And let’s not fear what people think: better to be shunned by people than to be replaced by God.

Lord, teach me not to fear what man thinks of me. Help me. Give me the boldness to stand when others are telling me to stand down. Give me the courage to lift up my voice when the crowds are telling me to be quiet. Help me to honor you above all. Let me be the soul who won’t allow stones to take its place. In Your Name, Jesus, amen
