Keep The Main Thing | Matthew 21
There are so many things that we do while living for God. Our focus can be missed if we don’t understand the core of what God has called us to be. In fact, the mission of God is not to make us do things, His mission is to transform our lives to become. We follow Jesus not just for the mission of winning lost souls to Him—we follow Jesus because God has reconciled us to become sons and daughters. And as sons and daughters we then exercise those things that our Father directs His household to be.
Work Better By Serving More | Matthew 20
Is it possible that in Jesus’ reply we find the true value of work? In the world that we live in, work is to meet needs and get some wants. And if we work hard, it’s for our benefit. What if we work with the mindset of serving? What if instead of thinking of what we can benefit from working, what if we consider who will benefit from our working?

The Abundance Mindset | Matthew 14
Matthew’s task for his writing was to showcase the messiahship of Jesus. He wanted to express by the retelling of these stories the power and the position of Jesus as the Heir to the Throne of Israel. That Jesus was indeed the One that was prophesied of old to come. He was the Seed of the woman; Jesus was the Branch from Jesse; He was the Stone of Daniel, the One that the builders rejected! Jesus was the sapling of Isaiah! This Jesus was going to be seen as little but will be greater than Solomon, Moses, even all the prophets of old put together! From what seemed to be lacking was overflowing abundance! From something so little will come something so great!
Pursue the Potential | Matthew 13
People First | Matthew 12
The real connection between us and God are not laws set by man or nature. The real connection between us and God are bound in who we truly are. We are God’s children not by the laws we follow; we are His children because He makes us His children. We submit not because we have to (because it’s written), we submit because we are connected to Him. Religiosity or piousness or outward appearances doesn’t connect us to God. The Pharisees lifted the observance of the law above relationship with God to people. To the Pharisees laws were the most important, not so to God. To God people are the most important.
The Rest | Matthew 11
The rest that Jesus gives is of Himself. He is the Rest. When you have Him burdens are unloaded, cares are released, weariness is relieved, clouded minds are cleared. If we can take Him and rest in Him, He will bring to us a rest we’ve never experienced and a joy we cannot contain. To Him, true rest is His story
There Will Be Challenges | Matthew 10
Whoever told you that believing and living for God is a crutch have not lived a day in our shoes. If they know what it means to be an active believer in Jesus, they’ll realize it ain’t for the weak of heart.
The Need For More Workers | Matthew 9
No matter what we may think of ourselves or how we see our place in the church of God, know that you and I are part of the answer to Jesus’ prayer. After Jesus told His disciples that the laborers or workers were few, He instructed them to ask the Lord to send out workers in the field. Do you see it? Yes, we are the answered prayer of the disciples of Jesus for more laborers. We are part of the answer of God to meet the needs of the crowds.
The Right Perspective | Matthew 8
God will do great and mighty things. Your perspective can make you lose out on the truth of following, even knowing Jesus. While some wanted Him because of the miracles, others reject Him because it may cause them money or some other material gains.
